To help protect patients against the H1N1 (swine flu) virus, The Hospital of Central Connecticut is asking individuals ages 18 and younger and anyone with cold or flu symptoms not to visit at this time.
“The hospital is making this request because the H1N1 virus is predominantly infecting younger people,” said Joseph Garner, M.D., head of the Division of Infectious Disease at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. “Visitation policies may change at the hospital as the H1N1 situation changes.”
